Hi, I’m Amanda Koenker — a proud Muncie native, Ball State grad (chirp chirp!), and the heart behind Magic City Property Management. I’ve lived, worked, worshipped, and built my life right here in Muncie, Indiana — and there’s truly no place I’d rather call home.
After graduating from Ball State University in 2005, I set down roots in the very city that raised me. I’ve spent my career investing in this community — not just through real estate, but through relationships. As a licensed broker and the owner of Magic City Properties, I’m passionate about creating safe, welcoming, and well-maintained homes for tenants while helping property owners feel confident and cared for.
Muncie is more than a market to me — it’s where my story began, and where I’m helping others build theirs.
My Story
I've been in property management for several years and manage roughly 70 properties. During Covid, my previous job downsized our department and that basically left me looking for something new. Someone connected me to MLB Properties of Delaware County and I've been there ever since. When the owner retired, I knew I had found my calling and settled in with my own business. It's important to me find the best match for tenants and owners so houses can turn into homes.
As an owner of a rental property, I understand that finding the right tenant at the right price is important. It's important to keep costs low and find tenants that will treat your house like home.
As a previous tenant, I understand that you want a house to be your home, likely for long term. The property needs to fit in your budget so you can be comfortable.
